We offer a wide range of international engineering internships abroad to help students from overseas to come to Jamaica and gain working experience while improving their skills. The engineering fields that we offer our internships in include automotive, mechanical, agricultural, civil, computer systems, chemical, electrical power, electronics, mining, petroleum and software engineering.
At Jamaica International Projects, we strive to ensure that our internship placements will position our engineer interns directly in the field, where they will work alongside local specialists and professionals. This way interns get an opportunity to put what they have learned in the classroom to practical use while providing them with a legitimate workplace for a test run of what their career will actually be like.
If you are an undergraduate, or even a grad school student who is hardworking, intelligent, passionate and seeking new challenges to supplement your growth and boost your learning, then our international engineering internship programs are perfect for you.
After all, there is no better way to experience a new culture than by working alongside locals every day. So apply today for an international internship for engineering students in Jamaica today to secure your space.

I had a wonderful placement at the pediatric center where the Dr and staff were very welcoming. I was able to develop my manual blood pressure taking ability and other key skills that I’m not able to practice in my typical clinical environment.
WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. This was a life changing experience. The children were so great. They gave me and taught me so much more than I gave them. This was one of the most satisfying trips I’ve ever done. Jomo, his mother and Dwayne were great hosts and caretakers. Jamaica and its people will forever be in my heart.
Unforgettable experience! All of you should try it. It was only my first-time volunteering and I’d love to do it again through the same Jamaica International Projects.
