Due to Covid-19, we now offer volunteers looking to teach Japanese abroad the option to join our programs virtually or to book a placement only option where we arrange the program in Jamaica and you source your own transfers, food, and accommodation.
Join this once in a lifetime opportunity to teach Japanese abroad by volunteering in Jamaica. Let Jamaica International Projects help you embark on a life-changing cultural exchange volunteer program. There is no better mixture of cultural immersion and community service available than by joining our programs.
Being a developing country, Jamaica suffers from a poor economy. As a result, schools barely have enough resources to function properly, let alone implement foreign language learning programs. This is where we come in, as we have collaborated with several schools in Jamaica to have volunteers come in to teach the students a foreign language.
When you volunteer to teach the Japanese language in Jamaica, you will be using your time and energy to educate locals not only about the language but also the culture of Japan as well. Teach them how to write Japanese, say greetings and salutations, the Japanese alphabet and much more. Show them popular Japanese food, famous landmarks, games, songs, etc.
If you are seeking to share the Japanese culture abroad while immersing in a new and exciting culture, our language and culture teaching program in Jamaica is calling you! Apply today and we will contact you within 24 hours to discuss your project and help you book your trip to Jamaica.
