Homestay Procedures

Check-in time for homestay is flexible. Upon check-in, you will be welcomed by our Program Advisor and taken to your room to relax, refresh and settle in. You will then be given an orientation on the program, and then served your welcome lunch/dinner. You will also be given a printed copy of your itinerary so that you can track the dates and time of your scheduled activities.

Support

For home stay your program advisors will be housed at your accommodation with you, so you can ask any questions freely as long as we are available.

Food

Homestay packages include home cooked Jamaican breakfast and dinner daily. Popular breakfast staples such as toast, cereal coffee and juice will all be available, and all meals will be cooked with organic, locally grown produce. We work with travelers with all dietary restrictions such as gluten allergies, diabetes, hypertension etc.

Check Out

Checkout time for homestay is flexible, but if you intend to stay extra days you will be charged a room fee of $35 USD per day. Upon check out, our Program Advisor will perform a quick check of your room, to ensure that you do not leave behind any valuables, and that property was not damaged. Provided everything is intact, we will collect the room key and refund you your deposit. After we say our farewells, we will transport you to the airport.
