Overview

Students studying journalism, mass media or communications should consider joining our journalism internships abroad in Jamaica. Our projects place interns with seasoned professionals in some of Jamaica’s most esteemed media outlets. Our partners include radio stations, television networks, newspaper outlets and online marketing firms.

Reviews

  • I had a wonderful placement at the pediatric center where the Dr and staff were very welcoming. I was able to develop my manual blood pressure taking ability and other key skills that I’m not able to practice in my typical clinical environment.

  • WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. This was a life changing experience. The children were so great. They gave me and taught me so much more than I gave them. This was one of the most satisfying trips I’ve ever done. Jomo, his mother and Dwayne were great hosts and caretakers. Jamaica and its people will forever be in my heart.

  • Unforgettable experience! All of you should try it. It was only my first-time volunteering and I’d love to do it again through the same Jamaica International Projects.
