What Is Included
Application Process For Remote Internships
Step 1
Select the field of focus for your remote internship in Jamaica (or other countries). You must be enrolled in a course that is related to this field, or a recent graduate within the past 2 years.
Step 2
Your next step is to complete our virtual internship application form. By submitting the application you are not yet committing. Instead, you are submitting information that we will need to seek the perfect placement for you in Jamaica, as well as decide if you are a good fit for our remote internships.
While applying you will be asked to submit the following attachments or information, therefore we suggest having these ready in advance before applying:
- 2 references (1 personal and 1 professional)
- A copy of your CV or Resume
- Proof of your qualifications or course grades

Step 3
All virtual interns are required to submit a video application, where you will answer 5 simple questions about yourself. This will take about 10 to 15 minutes to complete, and you can answer each question in separate videos or 1 take.

Step 4
We will review your applications within 2 business days and send you an offer letter by email if you have been accepted, and you will be assigned your Project Advisor. If you receive an offer letter, you will be able to secure your space by paying the virtual internship processing fee.
Step 5
After you have received an offer letter, your remote internship will not be confirmed until you make your payment in full. The total cost is a 1-time payment of $949 USD. Once your payment is made we will confirm the host company that you will be placed with within 21 days. The processing fee is due no later than 4 weeks before your project start date.
Step 6
Once we confirm a potential internship host for you, the host company may request that you conduct a virtual interview before you are accepted. Once your host company is confirmed, we will provide you with online orientation, and you will formally begin your internship.

Overall, I had an amazing time with this program. I love how individualize the projects were and how Jomo really invested his time into making sure you enjoyed each experience. Working with the nutritionist was a wonderful time for me and taught me many lessons that I will use as a further in my career. As well as, as the children’s home open my eyes to a whole different side of life that I have never seen before. As far as the accommodation goes, it was excellent. I enjoyed getting to know him and his guest that were staying.
For the future, hopefully, there will be more volunteers than one at a time. I enjoyed the alone time because part of the reason I came on this trip was to get away from all the drama in my life back home! But for others, they might get kind of bored or lonely. All in all, I will remember this trip always and glad I had such a great experience!

WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. This was a life changing experience. The children were so great. They gave me and taught me so much more than I gave them. This was one of the most satisfying trips I’ve ever done. Jomo, his mother and Dwayne were great hosts and caretakers. Jamaica and its people will forever be in my heart.
