This workshop, hosted by Jamaica International Projects, offers a hands-on experience guided by expert Jamaican chefs who will teach you the secrets behind some of Jamaica’s most beloved dishes.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Authentic Jamaican Cooking Techniques: Discover the traditional methods used in Jamaican kitchens, from marinating with spices to Jerk, whether you have a steel drum jerk pan, a barbeque grill or an oven.
  • Prepare a 5 Course Jamaican Meal: Learn how to prepare a 5 course Jamaican meal from scratch. Surprise your loved ones with an authentic Jamaican meal after learning to prepare:
    • Appetizer: Stamp and Go (Saltfish Fritters) and Fried Ripe Plantains
    • Soup: Saturday Soup
    • Fish Course: Escovitch Fish & Festival
    • Main Course: Jerk Chicken & Rice and Peas
    • Dessert: Cornmeal Pudding

Each dish will be broken down into easy-to-follow steps, ensuring you can cook along with us and recreate these recipes with confidence.
