Are You A Teen Looking to Volunteer Abroad?

At Jamaica International Projects, we offer a wide range of teen volunteer opportunities for teenagers around the world. You can volunteer online to give back while learning new skills, visit Jamaica on a full project with accommodation, meals, transportation, and live with a host family, or you can join a placement only project if you will be visiting Jamaica with your parents, but wish to give back.

Teen Volunteer Abroad Programs In Jamaica

Looking to join teen volunteer abroad programs where you can prove your independence and maturity while giving back and making a difference? Our teenage volunteer abroad programs are designed to challenge teens and encourage them to do some critical thinking and problem solving each day, while they meet new friends from around the world and immerse themselves in the Jamaica culture.

A volunteer abroad teens trip incorporates fun, learning, and volunteer work all into one interactive project that will allow you to escape from your comfort zone while boosting your self-confidence to new heights. These projects are also excellent for students looking to complete some volunteer hours for high school or to boost their resumes for college.

This program will give you the chance to volunteer while you travel and meet new people, integrate into a new culture, and get real-world experience by volunteering in a field you are interested in. We offer many projects for our teens to give back in Jamaica. Our projects run from 1 week to 3 months, are affordable, secured, and highly structured. This is a chance for you to show your parents how independent you can be, and that you are ready and willing to take on any challenges that come your way.

    Reviews

    • Overall, I had an amazing time with this program. I love how individualize the projects were and how Jomo really invested his time into making sure you enjoyed each experience. Working with the nutritionist was a wonderful time for me and taught me many lessons that I will use as a further in my career. As well as, as the children’s home open my eyes to a whole different side of life that I have never seen before. As far as the accommodation goes, it was excellent. I enjoyed getting to know him and his guest that were staying.

For the future, hopefully, there will be more volunteers than one at a time. I enjoyed the alone time because part of the reason I came on this trip was to get away from all the drama in my life back home! But for others, they might get kind of bored or lonely. All in all, I will remember this trip always and glad I had such a great experience!

    • WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. This was a life changing experience. The children were so great. They gave me and taught me so much more than I gave them. This was one of the most satisfying trips I’ve ever done. Jomo, his mother and Dwayne were great hosts and caretakers. Jamaica and its people will forever be in my heart.

    • Unforgettable experience! All of you should try it. It was only my first-time volunteering and I’d love to do it again through the same Jamaica International Projects.
