So you have a teenager looking to venture out into the world by joining teen volunteer abroad programs. Why not let them join our teenage volunteer abroad programs here in Jamaica?
Our programs are specifically designed to challenge teens and encourage them to do some critical thinking and problem solving each day, while they meet new friends from around the world and immerse themselves in the Jamaica culture.
Our volunteer abroad teens trips incorporate fun, learning and volunteer work all into 1 interactive project that will allow your teen to escape from their comfort zone while boosting their self-confidence to new heights. These projects are also excellent for students looking to complete some volunteer hours for high school or to boost their resumes for college.

This is a sample 1 week itinerary for our teen volunteer abroad programs
Fly into Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston (KIN). We will meet you with a sign saying Jamaica International Projects and transfer you to your accommodation where you will check in and meet the other members of your trip. Get your welcome dinner, orientation and settle in.
Start your teenage volunteer abroad by visiting children home in Kingston. Meet the children, tour the property and begin your volunteer duties. Do painting, landscaping, repair swing sets or do other projects around the property.
Day 2 of your volunteer work, you will take part in arranging and organizing a game of bonding and recreation with the children at the orphanage, such as a sports day, talent show, games day, tournament or other fun activities.
On the final day of your volunteer project hand out any donations you brought along to the children, take part in a fun farewell lunch with the children and spend the remainder of the day playing with them.
Take part of a group cultural outing where you will learn more about Jamaica. Go to the blue mountain to visit a coffee plantation, go to Bob Marley Museum to learn about his life, and stop at Devon House for a tour of the historic mansion and enjoy Jamaica’s number 1 ice cream.
Go to Dolphin Cove in Ocho Rios to swim with dolphins and sharks, go kayaking, tour their animal farm and more. Afterward, head to Green Grotto Cave to safely explore the natural limestone cave. Have your farewell group dinner and receive your certificates.
Depart Jamaica having successfully completed your teenage volunteer abroad programs and having met many new friends along the way.
WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. This was a life changing experience. The children were so great. They gave me and taught me so much more than I gave them. This was one of the most satisfying trips I’ve ever done. Jomo, his mother and Dwayne were great hosts and caretakers. Jamaica and its people will forever be in my heart.
Unforgettable experience! All of you should try it. It was only my first-time volunteering and I’d love to do it again through the same Jamaica International Projects.
