University Trips Placement Location

Our internships, volunteer programs and service projects are usually based in the Kingston, Saint Catherine and Saint Andrew area of Jamaica. The tours and educational field trips are located across Jamaica, and are usually one day events.

Our college break trip packages run for as little as 1 week up to a maximum of 3 months. Indicate how long you would like to stay on your application so that we can arrange an itinerary to suite your group’s needs.


Group Sizes

To take advantage of our travel university international package your group must consist of a minimum of five (5) persons.

Recommended To Take With You

We recommend that everyone in your group take along the following items with you during your university travel and tourism trip in Jamaica:

• Insect repellent
• Comfortable shoes
• Sunscreen
• Enough clothing to last at least a week
• Cash to purchase lunch daily, snacks and souvenirs
• A camera to take pictures
• Laptop/tablet or cell phone with WiFi capabilities to keep in touch with family and friends back home
• A reusable water bottle
• Towels
• Bathing suit



The price of your college travel tours depends upon a number of factors, including:

• How long your group plans to stay
• If you use our partner accommodation
• The activities that your group will partake in
• The size of your group


Due to the reasons listed above we do not have a static costing for our group travel trips, instead we will work with your group to create an itinerary for your trip and provide you with the costing then.

• Travel medical insurance coverage (you can purchase an insurance package here)



We have college student travel tours available all year round. Apply as soon as possible so that we can assist your group with booking your program early.


Project Dates And Times

The service or internship aspects of our group travel programs usually are done on weekdays from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Tours and cultural programs are usually conducted in the afternoons and on weekends. Our programs are extremely flexible and your group will decide what activities you do on each day.



We have partnered with the Hellshire Beach Club in Saint Catherine, which is about 30 minutes away from Kingston. Our guests are housed on a special block that is reserved only for Jamaica International Projects clients that offers both safety and security.


Each member of your group can chose between single rooms and double rooms, which are all air conditioned with cable television, a mini refrigerator, private bathrooms, free Wi-Fi access, poolside access and a patio.


You will also be less than 2 minutes walking distance of both Hellshire Beach and the Private Sugarman Beach, so your group can go swimming, relaxing or sunbathing each day.



We will provide you with all your in-country transportation needs. This includes airport pickup and return to airport, daily project transfer to and from all planned activities and guided trips to all tours and attractions.


You will always be transferred in clean, insured and comfortable vehicles driven by courteous and highly trained drivers.
