Dialysis Volunteer Abroad Jamaica - Volunteer Dialysis Center Placements

Are you seeking an opportunity to travel abroad to help someone with chronic kidney disease? Do you know a patient on dialysis and would like to help to offer dialysis services to patients in Jamaica? Or perhaps you are a medical student seeking experience working in a volunteer dialysis center while helping patients?

Whatever your calling, our dialysis volunteer programs await you. Your help is greatly needed in order to ensure thousands of Jamaicans living with kidney problems get the proper treatment that they deserve. We need all hands on deck to help treat patients, many of whom cannot afford the necessary treatment otherwise.

Jamaica International Projects has partnered with several local dialysis centres, clinics and hospitals to ensure that our volunteers engage in meaningful and impactful work. So if you are seeking to travel abroad as a dialysis technician volunteer, join our programs to get started today!

How You Can Help On Your Volunteer Dialysis Center Program In Jamaica:

  • *Work at local hospitals and dialysis centres to assist with treating patients with kidney problems
  • *Do administrative tasks such as entering patients’ information on file and scheduling appointments
  • *Visit schools and communities to educate locals about kidney disorders, and how dialysis can help
  • *Become a mentor/sponsor for a kidney patient, and help to support their treatment
  • *Attend health fares to distribute educational material about kidney disease
  • *Do a fundraising campaign back home to raise cash and kind to donate to the dialysis centre or hospital where you will be volunteering

Amount Of Participants:

This project can accommodate up to 30 volunteers at a time. If you have a larger group we will need to make special arrangements.

If you would like assistance in raising funds, read through our fundraising guide for amazing ideas to help you collect donations and raise funds for your trip. We will also send you any support documentation necessary for accessing grants or funding.
