Description

Corporate Volunteering Programs Abroad In Jamaica

Each year we see more and more professionals and companies engaging in corporate volunteering programs abroad. There has been a steady shift in the workforce where professionals are seeking to use their skills, time and resources to travel overseas and assist with problems facing third world countries across the world. Employees, especially millennials are now more than ever craving the opportunity to work for companies who actively volunteer as a force for change and help to make the world a better place.

As a third world country and one of the more popular Caribbean islands, Jamaica welcomes over 3 million visitors annually. While most of these travellers come to soak up the sand, sea and sun, there is an ever-increasing number of visitors whose main motivation for visiting is to volunteer, while also immersing themselves in the Jamaican culture. This correlates with the fact that the benefits of corporate volunteering are becoming more apparent to professionals and corporations. Our tough economy contrasted by our vivid culture and stunning attractions make Jamaica the perfect destination for corporate volunteering opportunities.
